THE PROCESS
Initial contact. It all begins with a phone call or an email. Because we are a boutique-style design studio, we limit our number of wedding cakes per week. Once you contact us, we can determine if we are available for your special day and answer any initial questions you have regarding our cakes, including our pricing structure. At this time, we schedule your design and sampling appointment. We meet with prospective clients on Wednesdays and Thursdays during our wedding season, with some Saturday appointments available during slower, winter months.

Design appointment. In order for us to create the perfect cake for you, plan to bring along any details regarding your wedding, including floral information, venue (including the contact people and time schedule), event planners etc. This will ensure that the time I spend with you personally is focused on designing your cake, inside and out, making it truly one-of-a-kind.

Pricing. Each cake is priced individually, according to artistry, content, number of portions and size. Once we have established your needs, I can give you an estimated cost for your cake, including the delivery fee, if applicable. Should you decide to retain our services, a minimum deposit is required to reserve the date.

Tasting Party. You (the couple and your parents) will be invited to attend our annual winter tasting party during January. At that time, you will select your flavor[s} for your wedding. Bring your appetite and be prepared to have a great time! You will be sampling 8 types of cakes with different fillings, sauces and icings. I am available to answer any questions you may have about the cakes you are sampling.

Since most couples live out of state, most of our design details can be processed via email. For those of you who would like to schedule a final design appointment, I am more than happy to personally meet with you again.
