My name is
Michelle Bohigian and I have been baking most of my life. My mom and I used to have "bake-offs"
on Friday nights after dinner to see what new desserts we could come up with before the 11:00 news broadcast! It
was always a challenge, but it was so much fun spending this time with my mother.
I began my professional career in cake design in 1992 when I launched "Something Sweet by Michelle" in Worcester,
Massachusetts. In order to keep up-to-date with current trends, I studied sugar art for over 11 years under various
master decorators as time allowed. It is my goal to provide timeless, elegant designs for our clients using balance,
form, texture and color as well as provide them with a cake that tastes extraordinary.
I'd like to introduce you to my assistant, Lindsay Kisiel, my right hand and sometimes, my left!

Hi! My name is
Lindsay Kisiel and when I was two years old, my mother asked me what I wanted to do when I grew
up? I told her with deep conviction that I wanted to bake cakes! She said there was no such job; little did
my mother know . . .
I am a graduate of the New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vermont, class of 2006. As part of my
eduction, I had to complete a six month internship and my focus was pastry. I interviewed with Michelle at
Something Sweet and we just "clicked" during the interview. We have been working together since my interview and
my passion for baking remains constant!
